Scenic lookouts – Grampians

The Pinnacle - The Grampians

It is no surprise that the Grampians region, famous for its mountainous and rugged scenery, also has a number of spectacular scenic lookouts. The landscape of the Grampians, a million years in the making, has formed by wind, water and sun weathering spectacular sandstone ridges and unusual rock formations.

Here are some of the best lookouts accessible by car. There are many walking trails to other well-known lookouts such as Mt Sturgeon, Mt Stapylton, Boronia Peak and Hollow Mountain which offer wonderful and diverse views of the surrounding landscape. For information on other scenic lookouts, call into Brambuk – The National Park and Cultural Centre in Halls Gap.
